Hurricane Preparedness Open House

To help residents prepare for hurricane season, Broward County is hosting the 4th Annual Hurricane Preparedness Open House on Saturday, June 2nd at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, located at 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The community is invited to this free, one-day event which will offer preparedness information from emergency management experts and dozens of County agencies and service providers. Kids will love exploring emergency vehicles, meeting Broward Sheriff Office Search and Rescue dogs, participating in raffle drawings and enjoying giveaways and free snacks while supplies last.
