Miamibloco: Beats & Belonging  - A weekend of Samba percussion and dance events to build community through music. 

The free two-day event takes place at ArtsPark at Young Circle on Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th.

Day 1: Feel the Pulse and play with Miamibloco! (SEPT 16th, 4-6PM) 

Discover the magic of Brazilian percussion in an engaging, inclusive workshop where everyone is welcome, regardless of musical background. Guided by skilled professionals of Bateria Saideira and our musical director, you'll have the chance to create musical grooves with authentic Samba instruments, all while fostering a sense of togetherness and cultural appreciation.

Day 2: Behind the Scenes Groove (SEPT 17th, 4-7PM) 

Ever wondered what goes into the captivating performances of Miamibloco's Bateria Saideira Program? Now's your chance to dive deep into the heart of the action! Join us for a mesmerizing rehearsal and captivating performance by our talented 40-member ensemble. Witness the dedication, sweat, and artistic process that bring our arts-centered community to life, culminating in a breathtaking batucada performance.
