[ARCHIVED] Regular Alley Collections for Garbage and Recycling Have Resumed

As of Monday, November 13th regularly scheduled garbage and recycling collections have resumed in alleyways throughout the City. View the collection schedule here: 

In partnership with Waste Pro USA, the City of Hollywood collects garbage twice per week and recycling once a week. All collections begins at 7:00 a.m. except in the Beach District which begins at 8:00 a.m. Garbage containers can be placed out the night before a collection or earlier than 6:30 a.m. on your collection day.  For more information please visit:

The deadline to place Hurricane Irma storm-related debris curbside has passed. While still on a modified schedule, commingled collections are taking place in the alley for those who have alleys. The regular, weekly commingled collection schedule is anticipated to resume in the very near future.
