Important Information on Vacation Rentals

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued Executive Order 20-87 mandating that all parties engaged in the rental of vacation rental properties suspend these operations. All vacation rentals are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and must not accept any new guests for check-in for the duration of the order.

If you believe any licensee is operating contrary to the Governor’s Executive Order 20-71 or Executive Order 20-87, please report the information to Department of Business and Professional Regulation using this form.

Make Hollywood Count

Take the Census Today

10 minutes is all it takes!

National Self-Response Rate: 45.7%
Florida's Self-Response Rate: 44.2%
Hollywood's Self-Response Rate: 40.2%

While we all continue to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home, all are encouraged to participate in the United States Census. Visit www.my2020census.gov and click the start questionnaire button.  If you don’t have your 12 digit Census ID number, you can still participate by entering your address.  Completing the entire Census takes only about ten minutes.

It is important that you participate, as the amount of federal funding the City, County and State gets for infrastructure improvements, schools, hospitals and disaster recovery is tied to the community's census data. An accurate count of all Hollywood residents will help to ensure we receive our fair share of funding over the next 10 years. Help Hollywood beat the state and national self- response rate average by completing your questionnaire today.

If you are unable to respond online at www.my2020census.gov, or find that you need assistance with completing the questionnaire, please call the Census Customer Service toll-free number at 1-844-330-2020.
