Tomorrow, June 2nd

The City of Hollywood is partnering with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Feeding South Florida for a Community Food Distribution tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2). People can pick up free fresh and frozen groceries in a drive-thru style distribution. Drivers will not need to exit their vehicles; the groceries will be placed in their trunks by volunteers. The food distribution will take place:

Tuesday, June 2
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. while supplies last
Tri-Rail Parking Lot
2900 Sheridan Street in Hollywood

DO NOT arrive early as the gates do not open until 7:30 a.m. For the safety of attendees and volunteers, absolutely no walk-ups will be accepted, only vehicles will be allowed entry.

For those who are not able to attend this event, there are other food distribution resources available. For additional assistance, please visit the Social Assistance webpage.

Temporary Café Zones

The purpose of the Temporary Café Zone expansion is to back the City’s restaurant businesses that have been heavily impacted by COVID-19 mitigation measures, and provide these businesses with the opportunity to expand their dining areas using outdoor spaces.  This 30-day pilot program will run from now through Monday, June 22nd.

The use of Temporary Café Zones requires online registration, which includes submitting a registration form with supporting documents (indemnification form and proof of insurance), along with other requirements. There is no fee to register.
