Tropical Storm IsaiasUpdate as of 8/2/20 2:30 PM
Tropical Storm Isaias continues to move away from the Hollywood area and up the Florida coast on a north/northwesterly track. The National Hurricane Center has lifted the Tropical Storm warning for the area of Florida south of the Jupiter Inlet including Hollywood. Garbage, Recycling & Commingled Collections Waste Pro, the City’s sanitation service provider, will resume the normal collection schedule for Garbage, Recycling and Commingled Material on Monday morning. Those customers whose garbage and recycling was not collected on Saturday due to Tropical Storm Isaias will have their material picked up during their next scheduled collection. Parks, Swimming Pools and Recreational Facilities All youth sports activities and aquatic activities are suspended for Sunday due to Hurricane Isaias. Additionally all parks, including dog parks, are closed.
Sun Shuttle by Circuit Ride Service Suspended The Sun Shuttle Micro-transit service that provides free rides around Downtown Hollywood and Hollywood Beach remains suspended, but will resume normal service on Monday.

COVID-19 Testing Sites in Hollywood Remain Closed All state-supported drive-thru and walk-up COVID-19 testing sites are temporarily closed due to Tropical Storm Isaias. All sites are anticipated to be reopened by 8 a.m., Wednesday, August 5.
Free COVID-19 testing remains available through local County Health Departments. Please call in advance for testing through County Health Department, contact information for all counties is available here.

While sites are closed, individuals are encouraged to follow all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the recent Public Health AdvisoryPDF issued by the Florida Department of Health.
