Deadline Is Wednesday, December 9th To Apply For Broward's Small Business Grants
Home-Based Businesses Are Now Eligible To Apply
The deadline to apply for Broward County CARES Act assistance has been extended through December 9th at 11:59 p.m. The Rental Assistance, Small Business and Non-Profit Assistance funds are made possible by the Broward County Commission, with funding from the federal CARES Act. Home-based business owners can now apply. Broward's Family Success Division is administering the Rental Assistance program, while the Office of Economic and Small Business Development is handling the Small business and Non-Profit program. Visit Broward.org/Cares for eligibility, application requirements and to apply. Home-based businesses that have previously applied do not need to apply again. For questions, call 954-831-2380.
Changes were made to eligibility criteria to help more businesses, including:
- Business revenue increase from $1.5M to $2M
- Prior funding from PPP, EIDL, and FL State Bridge Loan increased from $15K to $100K
- Home-based businesses can now apply
