You've Got an Idea for a Business
Now What?

The City of Hollywood is accepting applications online now through Sunday, January 30 at 11:00 p.m. for its 3rd cohort of the Kauffman Foundation FastTrac® Start-Up Program. This FREE entrepreneurship program is provided at no cost to participants.

The program will run from February through May, and classes will be held on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at ArtsPark at Young Circle in downtown Hollywood. Click here to apply now!

As a Kauffman FastTrac® affiliate, the City hosts the FastTrac® Start-Up Program to help entrepreneurs refine their business concept, identify the components of a strong business plan, and access the appropriate resources for launch. All participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Participants will develop a clear business concept and learn how to:
• Identify market needs
• Explore risk and success factors
• Build a solid business plan
• Create an elevator pitch
• Understand business fundamentals
• Network with entrepreneur professionals
• Access business, financial and human resources

CareerSource Broward (CSBD) is actively recruiting Broward County employers to participate in its 2022 Summer Youth Employment Program. Participating employers will have the opportunity to boost workplace productivity with an extra set of hands and invest in the community through a positive influence on Broward County’s future workforce. Paycheck Protection Program borrowers: If your loan is $150,000 or less, you may be eligible to apply for direct forgiveness through the SBA, using their online portal. Follow the steps below. 1. This workshop gives you an overview of QuickBooks to avoid common mistakes and potentially wasted effort and time.
