We want to hear from you! Nationally, over 70% of employment growth in a community comes from the retention and expansion
of existing businesses. The City and Chamber recognize that Hollywood’s existing businesses make investments in facilities, create jobs, and provide a support network that is at the heart of a strong local economy.The City, in partnership with the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, has launched a joint venture to survey business owners and stop by to visit businesses Citywide.


The Business Survey and Visitation Programs aims to:

• Strengthen the partnership between the City, local Chamber, and the business community
• Enhance communication, Identify retention and growth opportunities for businesses
• Introduce the community to contacts
• Create opportunities to voice concerns and discuss how the City and Chamber can work more closely with Hollywood business owners

Business owners are encouraged to take a brief survey and will have the opportunity to request a in person visit with City staff. We’ll come over!

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services. Through the program, you will gain practical skills across topics such as financial statements negotiation, marketing, and employee management, and gain the tools to develop a customized business plan for growth—for free. 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Be based in South Florida
• Be in operation for at least two years
• Have revenue of $75,000 minimum in the most recent fiscal year
• Have a minimum of 2 full-time employees (including the owner)

Paycheck Protection Program borrowers: If your loan is $150,000 or less, you may be eligible to apply for direct forgiveness through the SBA, using their online portal.
