Annual Operating Budgets
The City of Hollywood’s Operating Budget documents are a
vast source of information related to organizational structure,
demographics, revenue sources, historical property tax rates and
assessed values, and agency grant allocations, as well as budgeted
expenditures by Department. As such, they are also quite lengthy,
averaging 400 pages each. These books are identified in the downloads
area below as the
Official Book for each fiscal year.
An
In Brief document is prepared for the current fiscal year to provide highlights of the current year’s
adopted budget. The In Brief document contains the most frequently requested information, including tables
showing budgeted revenues and expenditures for each fund. The FY 2011 Operating Budget, covering the period
from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, was adopted by the City Commission on September 29, 2010.
