Fiscal Year 2008 Agency Funding
In 2007, Budget Administration prepared a review of FY 2008 funds set aside
for agencies that provide services to the community. These funds come from various sources, including grants that require
municipal partnership, entitlement grants which can be awarded to subgrantees, law enforcement forfeiture funds, and the City's
General Fund, as well as tax increment financing (TIF) from the Beach and Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) districts.
This report provides an overview of funding sources, award processes and monitoring, and activities funded through agencies.

As of October 1, 2007, $2.4 million has been identified for Fiscal Year 2008 awards to specific agencies for community
services from the following sources:

Quarterly Expenditure Reports
Budget
Administration monitors expenditures throughout the year and regularly
prepares Expenditure Reports. It is important to note that these
reports reflect only Department & Office expenditures and do not
include revenues, reimbursements or grant funding that may offset a
portion of these costs.<>
