September is National Suicide Awareness Month. In an effort to raise awareness on mental health and suicide prevention Breaking the Barriers is hosting the “Celebrate Your Life 5K.” A 5K walk/run dedicated to suicide awareness and prevention, mental health and the loved ones lost by suicide. Join us on a 5K walk/run at TY Park in Hollywood. The 5K is a chipped timed event and will provide awards for top 3 (male and female) overall and age groups. Each participants will receive a personalized race bib with RFID timing chip, event shirt, and finisher medal. Many have been affected or know someone affected by suicide, show you support by taking a step forward to end suicide.
