A former resident of Pennsylvania, I moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida in 1976.
On leaving the Air Force in 1972, I attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Since that time I have done graduate level study in Urban & Regional Planning (Pennsylvania State University) and Public Administration (Florida International University).
I started work with the Broward County Office of Planning in 1981 and have been the manager of the Urban Transit Planning Section of the Transportation Planning Division since 1991. The Transportation Planning Division is also staff for the Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization. Section responsibilities include short range and system planning for: transit and paratransit services and facilities; pedestrian facilities; transportation access and mobility; freight and goods movement; and intermodal transportation service and facilities.
I assisted in writing the Commercial Landscape Ordinance of Lighthouse Point as a member of the ordinance committee in 1985.
I am a member of the American Planning Association - Florida Chapter, Broward Section and the Transportation Planning and Resort and Tourism Divisions of the APA.
