Citywide
Master Plan
The
Citywide Master Plan is the result of a two-year process and represent
the culmination of over 100 public meetings, staff and consultant
recommendations, and the unanimous approval and endorsement from the
Hollywood City Commission. The City now has a valuable tool to
assist in land use and zoning issues, budget decisions, the
prioritization of the capital improvement program, and the assessment
of the Sub-Areas identified in the Plan, as well as the progress of the
City in general.

Commercial
Corridor Development
As the City of Hollywood continues to grow, there is an increased
emphasis on the redevelopment of the four major commercial corridors:
State Road 7/441, Hollywood Boulevard, Federal Highway/US 1 and Dixie
Highway. The City is focused on positive commercial corridor and
business redevelopment in a manner compatible with the Citywide Master

Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA)
Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was created in order to redevelop
Downtown Hollywood and Hollywood Beach as dynamic places to invest,
work, live and play. The CRA consists of the Beach District and the
Downtown District. The CRA Board consists of seven (7) members who also
serve as the Mayor and City Commission.
