Mission Statement The mission of the Housing and Community Redevelopment Department is to initiate the revitalization of housing and stabilize and improve neighborhoods throughout the City of Hollywood, specifically concentrating on the more economically challenged areas to stimulate positive changes for more efficient, consistent, attractive, effective neighborhood conditions. Department staff can provide valuable information and resources concerning neighborhood related issues. The Department is working to create a positive appearance and add value to the City’s residential neighborhoods. The Department of Housing and Community Redevelopment has implemented a Strategic Plan that will contain costs, improve economic development, provide excellent customer service and recognize key employees.
