HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAMS
En Espanol
The City of Hollywood’s Department of Community Development administers a Housing Rehabilitation Program. Owners of single family houses, duplexes, condos and town homes in need of repairs to bring the property up to code compliance with the South Florida Building codes are eligible. Multi-family properties with a maximum of four units can also apply for assistance if the property owner occupies one of the units. Funding for this program is limited. Although applications are received throughout the year, a wait list of eligible participants is served as funds become available.
When you obtain a Housing Rehabilitation loan from the City of Hollywood, you are placing a mortgage on
your property, which is payable upon the sale, refinance, rental or when it is not longer owner
occupied.
You may qualify if you own and reside within the incorporated area of the City of Hollywood
and meet all standard underwriting criteria.
