The City is holding its 2nd Annual Photo Contest and this is your opportunity to explore Hollywood with your camera, showcase your photography skills and win a prize for capturing the most quintessential Hollywood scene.  This year we’re introducing a new category for kids ages 12 and under.

Your photo submissions must clearly depict a Hollywood, Florida scene, event or landscape of living in Hollywood that make you pleased to call the City home.

A panel of judges made of City staff and local art experts will evaluate each submission and name the top three photos. The first place winner will come away with a $200 gift card; second and third-place winners will take home $150 and $100 gift cards, respectively. A $50 gift card will be awarded to the first place winner for the children’s category.

You can submit your photos one of two ways. E-mail your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and high-resolution photo entry to by 5pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013. The e-mail subject line should say "City of Hollywood Photo Contest" and the body of the e-mail should identify where in Hollywood you shot the photo. Be sure to attach the photo release form with your submission and if the participant is under 18 years old, a signed letter from an adult or guardian (see contest rules below).

You also may personally submit your photo at Hollywood City Hall, City Manager's Office, Room 419, 2600 Hollywood Blvd. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (not including holidays). Please direct your submission to the attention of Kris Rebar, Public Relations Coordinator. Be sure to include a note identifying where in Hollywood you shot the photo, the photo release form, and if the participant is under 18 years old, a signed letter from an adult or guardian (see contest rules below).
