Foreclosure Help
A home is a financial asset and more. It is a place to live and raise children, it's a plan for the future and it's an investment in your community. The City of Hollywood promotes home preservation and encourages you to contact the Department of Community & Economic Development should you require additional assistance at 954.921.3271.

Tips To Avoid Foreclosure

  • Contact your lender's loss mitigation department
  • Open and respond to all mail from your lender
  • Call a HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) approved Housing Counseling Agency
  • Create a personal budget and review your financial resources
  • Consider ways of increasing your income and reducing your expenses
