The
unique concept of the “Local Minority Business Enterprise and Local
Small Business Enterprise Program” is that the City and its contractors
are mandated to provide spending and procurement opportunities in the
areas of construction, goods, and professional and non-professional
services, for qualified local minority and qualified small businesses.
The program will help to increase the diversity of the businesses that
the City utilizes for goods and services and will provide necessary
means to strengthen the business base right here in the City of
Hollywood. Through the program, qualified businesses will be given
opportunities to attend training sessions, learning skills to help them
remain successful in conducting business with the City. We are
committed to helping ensure that our community members will continue to
work as our partners for years to come.
