The City’s Free Parking Program for Hybrid Vehicles ended on September 30, 2011.
The City now offers Free Parking in Downtown Hollywood for on-street parking.
The Office of Parking and Intergovernmental Affairs operates as an Enterprise Fund. All revenues are
generated solely by its parking operations including meters and citations and deposited into a fund
which in turn supports all parking activities including the operation of four garages, meter technician
unit, enforcement unit and customer service office.
The Office of Parking and Intergovernmental Affairs manages and operates 21 surface parking lots,
including a Recreational Storage Facility Lot located at 69th and Sheridan Street. There are a total
of 4,854 public spaces both on and off-street city-wide.
Parking is enforced 24 hours, 7 days a week. Metered parking rates on-street and parking lots
vary depending on the location.
The Office of Parking and Intergovernmental Affairs is committed to working with businesses,
residents, institutions and visitors to meet their diverse parking needs.
We count on the input, support and cooperation of everyone to make our parking management program
a success and to enhance pedestrian safety, smooth traffic flow and to allow emergency vehicles to
reach their destinations.
