ArtsPark Fountain Experience the ArtsPark...
Where Music, Art, and People Meet.

The ArtsPark at Young Circle is located in a 10-acre traffic circle in Downtown Hollywood. Dedicated in March 2007, the ArtsPark offers residents and visitors a wide array of visual and performing arts themed educational, recreational, and entertainment activities for all ages. Millennium Springs, created by Japanese artist Ritsuko Taho, is a creative water feature and environmental sculpture that interprets the life energy of a Baobab tree along with the dreams of the City’s founder. Fulfilling the dreams of many youngsters, the children’s playground, its innovative equipment, and an interactive water fountain are consistently the busiest attraction at the ArtsPark. Young and not so young visitors are also amused and inspired by Romero Britto’s Butterfly sculpture located nearby. A typical week’s program of activities can include 100 hours of demonstrations offered by working artists in the Visual Arts Pavilion where glass blowing, jewelry making, and sculpturing take place. Music is the mainstay of entertainment at the ArtsPark. With a concert scheduled for the third Thursday evening of every month plus festivals and special events, the amphitheater offers blues, big band, country, classical, salsa, and more. The ArtsPark welcomes buskers (street performers) and vendors of high quality, hand-made art as late afternoon turns to evening on most days. A selection of musicians, magicians, dancers, puppeteers, jugglers, storytellers, comics, clowns, balloon sculptors perform for the pleasure of their audiences and the reward of tips and gratuities. The ArtsPark also offers more than 25 hours of fitness and art classes and 35 hours during which outstanding art can be viewed in the exhibition gallery.

Funding for the ArtsPark at Young Circle was funded in part by the City of Hollywood and Broward County through the Broward Country Board of County Commissioners with proceeds from the 2000 Broward County Safe Parks and Land Preservation Bond Issue.
