The Anne Kolb Nature Center, opened in 1996 and named after
the late County Commissioner and environmentalist, includes a
five-level observation tower, a fishing pier, two nature trails,
and an outdoor amphitheater (250 capacity). An exhibit hall
features nature displays, a 3,500-gallon aquarium, and a
10-minute ecological-themed video, and the 6,060-square-foot
Mangrove Hall (277 capacity), complete with kitchen facilities,
can be rented for weddings, receptions, meetings, and other
activities. |

Boggs Field has multiple soccer fields and football fields with
bleacher seating, restrooms and concession stands. It also has 3
outdoor basketball courts. The Police Athletic League Community
Center is also located at this site. |

This combination baseball/softball facility is the former home of the minor league New York Yankees.
It offers a lighted baseball and 2 soccer fields which are used by the community sports associations. |

camps; civic meetings;youth & teen basketball leagues & clinics
and weight lifting. The center also offers computer classes and
aerobics. It also participates in the PRIDE (Positive Recreation
in a Diverse Environment) program and the Russell Life Skills and
Reading Program. Senior programs include Meals on Wheels.
Center facilities
include an auditorium, dance room, a full-size gymnasium with
bleacher seating, weight room, game room and kitchen and is
available for rental. Outdoor amenities include basketball and
paddleball courts and an 80-yard soccer/football field.
