Anne Kolb Nature Center

Broward County Facility
The Anne Kolb Nature Center, opened in 1996 and named after the late County Commissioner and environmentalist, includes a five-level observation tower, a fishing pier, two nature trails, and an outdoor amphitheater (250 capacity). An exhibit hall features nature displays, a 3,500-gallon aquarium, and a 10-minute ecological-themed video, and the 6,060-square-foot Mangrove Hall (277 capacity), complete with kitchen facilities, can be rented for weddings, receptions, meetings, and other activities.
 
Boggs Field
2310 North 23rd Avenue

Boggs Field has multiple soccer fields and football fields with bleacher seating, restrooms and concession stands. It also has 3 outdoor basketball courts. The Police Athletic League Community Center is also located at this site.
 
Dowdy Field
2161 Johnson Street

This combination baseball/softball facility is the former home of the minor league New York Yankees. It offers lighted baseball and soccer fields which are used by community sports associations.
 
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center

This multi-purpose center, located in northeast Hollywood, offers camps; civic meetings;youth & teen basketball leagues & clinics and weight lifting. The center also offers computer classes and aerobics. It also participates in the PRIDE (Positive Recreation in a Diverse Environment) program and the Russell Life Skills and Reading Program. Senior programs include Meals on Wheels.

Center facilities include an auditorium, dance room, a full-size gymnasium with bleacher seating, weight room, game room and kitchen and is available for rental. Outdoor amenities include basketball and paddleball courts and an 80-yard soccer/football field. These is also an ADA-accessible playground

Eco Grande Golf Course

Located in east Hollywood at the end of Taft Street, this beautiful nine-hole executive golf course is very challenging for all skill levels. Walking or riding is permitted. Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments served daily. Memberships are available.
 
Fred Lippman Shuffleboard Complex Suffleboard Complex

The Shuffleboard Club has been in existence since 1928 with the Quebecois Masters enjoying practice on site for 80 years. Use of the courts is seasonal from November through March. Club members also participate in tournaments. The present facility was dedicated in 1970 and includes 36 lighted courts, 53 benches and three sets of bleachers. The complex most recently received a facelift indoors and out courtesy of the 32nd Leadership Hollywood class. This included painting the fence and court benches and new light fixtures. Indoors the ceiling tiles in the main room and trophy case were replaced.
 
Henry L. Graham Park

This neighborhood park offers a playground, shade trees and park benches.
 
Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club

Conveniently located 10 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport and less than 5 minutes from the beaches, this 18-hole championship golf course is located adjacent to Downtown Hollywood. On premises is a newly renovated 31-room resort hotel and pool complex. Enjoy a full service restaurant and cocktail lounge with a panoramic view of lake and manicured golf course. Banquet facilities are available on site. Memberships are available.
 
Oakwood Hills Park

One of the newest of Hollywood's parks, Oakwood Hills Park is a passive park on a canal with walkway and benches serving the residents of the Oakwood Hills Development in northeast Hollywood.
 
Water View Park
2660 Coolidge Street

This small neighborhood waterfront park is enjoyed by residents seeking a quiet place for reflection. This passive park has a view of the adjacent waterway.
 
West Lake Park

Broward County Facility
West Lake Park include picnic areas, a biking/jogging path, tennis and racquetball courts, volleyball areas, and a playground. Two 45+ capacity picnic shelters are available for rental, and there's a marina where several kinds of boats can be rented. There is also a children's wheelchair-accessible playground with splash fountain.
