business district. A passive park with trees, shrubs, unique
playground equipment and a stage. It's a setting for weekend and
holiday events and a favorite for brown bag lunches. |

ArtsPark at
Young Circle 1 Young Circle
Located on Young Circle, the ArtsPark celebratedamid-March
opening with concerts, a laser show, the unveiling of the Romero
Britto sculpture and Japanese artist Ritsuko Taho’s creative
water anddream wave sculpturesand events at the sacred
Baobabtree. The public has rediscovered this regional park and
is enjoying evening concerts, the interactive play area and
special events which are now being programmedby the City of
Hollywood, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts and the CRA
Downtown District . This project is funded in part by Broward
County through the Broward County Board of County Commission-ers
with proceeds from the 2000 Broward County Safe Parks and Land
Preservation Bond Issue.

use by scheduled clubs and groups. The facility includes a
large auditorium with stage available for rental. Call for any

Beach Culture & Community Center

Located on south A1A, this beachfront facility provides classes,
events, activities and meeting rooms for the community. In
addition, the facility which has a large auditorium with stage is
available for weekend rentals for weddings, banquets, receptions
and other functions. Classes include the F.A.U. Lifelong Learning
series; cultural lectures; computer and exercise. Social events
include dinner dances. The center is home to the Science,
Education & Adventure S.E.A. Camp.
A reading center operated by the Broward Public Library System is
open Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
