Restaurant Pre-Rinse Spray Valve Exchange Program

Spray Valve Exchange Program Helping Hollywood Food Service Business Save Water

The City of Hollywood provides water service to 150,000 permanent residents and 60,000 seasonal residents and visitors each year. Annually the City of Hollywood produces over eight billion gallons of potable water to meet our customers’ needs.

The City of Hollywood has developed several water savings programs and community outreach program for local schools and community groups.

In our desire to further implement the South Florida Water Management District’s and the City of Hollywood’s mutual goal of water conservation, the City of Hollywood is providing 100 low-flow restaurant pre-rinse valves to local restaurants and cafeterias in exchange for their old water wasting spray valves.

The concept behind this program is to provide low-flow restaurant pre-rinse valves to l00 restaurants and cafeterias in exchange for their water wasting pre-rinse valves.

Through this replacement program Hollywood’s local restaurants and cafeterias will have an opportunity to take proactive steps towards reducing their water consumption.
