WWTP Tour - Non-Potable Water

A portion of the plant's final effluent is diverted from the effluent hydraulic box for the non-potable water. The non-potable system recycles this portion of the plant's final effluent for in-plant water uses that don't need drinking qualty water. By doing this, we provide an environmentally friendly method of providing process water to the plant treatment systems.

So how else is the treated effluent used? We also send treated effluent to the Reclaimed Water System for even more treatment.
