HTV 78 (Comcast Channel 78) is focused on providing the citizens of Hollywood reliable, convenient access
to information about City Government activities and services. By televising and producing programs
specifically related to government activity, HTV 78 contributes to improving public awareness,
participation and knowledge.
Production & Broadcast Services is responsible for:
- Utilizing City television channels for live coverage of City Commission meetings, workshops, City produced
programs, local events, a Community Bulletin Board, educational programming, and information during
emergency situations
- Strengthening the City’s economy and position in the film industry by maintaining cooperative efforts
between the City and outside agencies and providing an efficient film permit procedure
- Providing increased communication and education for City departments through television and video
production services

"gavel to gavel”. City Commission Meetings air live at 1:00 p.m. every first and third Wednesday of the month
(except August). The meetings are replayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday following the meeting and at 9:00 a.m.
on Monday following the meeting.
