To provide the residents, businesses and City officials of Hollywood, Florida greater accessibility, convenient resources and accurate information regarding City Government activities, processes, and services.

Functions:
Production & Broadcast Services is responsible for:

• Utilizing City television channels for live coverage of City Commission meetings, workshops, City produced programs, local events, a Community Bulletin Board, educational programming, and information during emergency situations
• Strengthening the City’s economy and position in the film industry by maintaining cooperative efforts between the City and outside agencies and providing an efficient film permit procedure
• Providing increased communication and education for City departments through television and video production services
• Overseeing the non-exclusive cable franchise agreement between the City and the current cable provider, Comcast, by monitoring compliance with applicable laws and ordinances, assisting with customer service issues, and negotiating terms of the contract to meet the needs of the City
