|Service Interruption Due To Non-Payment|
|Please be advised if your water service has been interrupted for non-payment you must speak with a Customer Service Representative after you have paid to schedule service reconnection. Please call 954.921.3938 during normal business hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. City Hall is CLOSED on FRIDAYS
Bills are considered delinquent on the 21st day after the bill date shown on the bill. If a bill remains unpaid, the service will be disconnected on the “cut-off date” indicated on your bill. Utility payments can be made by using one of the payment options found below.
Effective November 3, 2016: the City of Hollywood no longer mails delinquent notices to inform you that you are at risk of having your utilities services disconnected. Delinquent notices are sent through the automated phone system (IVR), by text and/or email to the contact information on file for your account. Please contact our Customer Service Office if you would like to update your contact information at 954.921.3938 during our regular business hours: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Thursday.

Establishing New Utility Service
First, determine if your service address is served by the City of Hollywood Public Utilities by calling customer service at 954-921-3938. Some Hollywood addresses are in the Broward or Davie service areas, in which case those properties may receive water service from one utility provider and sewer from another provider.
New utility accounts can be opened in person at City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Blvd, Room 103. Requirements include:
- A copy of your fully executed lease (if you are renting) or closing documents (if you are the new property owner)
- A state issued photo ID
- The appropriate deposit. The City's Municipal Ordinance requires all new customers to prepay their deposit.
Out of State or Cannot Stop By
The Utility Service Application and Temporary Meter Application can be printed and mailed with the appropriate documentation and deposit as described above to:

Customers are required to pay a deposit for utility service upon opening a utility account. View the deposit rate sheet to determine your deposit amount. The City pays interest on your deposit annually.
Deposits are refunded only when the utility account is closed at which time the deposit will be applied toward any outstanding balance prior to refund issuance.
