QLess Virtual Check-In System: In an effort to improve productivity and reduce the time spent waiting for service at the City Hall for permits and licenses, to request information and documents or pay fees, the City now offers the QLess Virtual Check-In system. Additionally, with our enhanced call-back feature, QLess allows citizens to spend NO time waiting in line so they can complete their business quickly and efficiently. This courtesy service is currently available for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Zoning, Fire, Engineering, Utilities, Parking, Code and Community Development.
Building Permit Self-Service: Receive automatic email notifications, check on permit status, review comments, schedule inspections, pay fees, and view results from anywhere.
Broward County ePermitsOneStop: Using ePermitsOneStop, Hollywood customers can now apply and receive approval for both Hollywood building permits and associated Broward County permits in a quicker, more seamless process, eliminating the need to travel to Broward's Government Center West located in Plantation.
Paying Building Permit Fees Online: The online payment process for Building fees is a service provided for your convenience. When the permit is in ready status, you are able to view the final permit fee and pay for the permit online.

The automated inspections scheduling line is at your service 24 hours a day. Have your permit number available and allow the easy prompts in English or Spanish to schedule, cancel or find out the status of a permit or inspection. Inspections scheduled on Monday thru Thursday prior to 8:00 p.m will be scheduled for the next business day. Inspections scheduled on Saturday or Sunday will be scheduled on the 2nd business day. To cancel an inspection, you must call the automated inspection line before 5:00 a.m for an inspection that is scheduled for later that day.

- Overtime Inspection information, call the Building Division at 954-921-3335 during business hours Monday thru Thursday 7:00 a.m -6:00 p.m
Note: Prior to scheduling an after-hours inspection, the overtime request form must be submitted for approval; and an additional fee per requested discipline will be added to the permit.
