The City’s sanitation collection provider, Waste Pro USA will be distributing replacement garbage and recycling carts to qualifying customers on Friday, August 5^th. The distribution will take place at the Department of Public Works facility, 1600 S. Park Road from 9:00 a.m. until noon (12:00 p.m.) while supplies last.  

Qualifying customers are those who do not currently possess a cart for collection services or need an additional cart, have pre-registered for a replacement, and obtained a work order number. A work order number is required to receive a cart. A truck, van or large SUV is also recommended to transport the cart from the facility. Carts do not fit inside a car or trunk. 

To pre-register and obtain the necessary work order number, please call the City of Hollywood Environmental Services Division at 954.967.4320 and press Option #1 to speak to a Customer Service Representative. Calls will be answered in the order in which they were received, during normal business hours. Requests received after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4^th will be rolled over to the next scheduled distribution event.

Future distribution events are planned for the first Friday of each month at the Public Works facility. Customers need to check the City’s website event calendar to confirm event status prior to arrival.
