Pursuant to Chapter 252, Florida Statutes, and Section 1.01 of the Charter of the City of Hollywood, I, Josh Levy, Mayor of the City of Hollywood, designated as a City Official empowered to declare that a State of Emergency exists within the boundaries of the City of Hollywood, do hereby invoke the emergency powers conferred in Chapter 255, Florida Statutes.
Pursuant to the aforementioned statutes, City Charter and Chapter 40 of the City of Hollywood Code of Ordinances, and in view of the imminent threat caused by Tropical Storm Nicole, I do hereby declare a State of Emergency in the City of Hollywood, County of Broward, Florida, effective at 4:00 p.m. on the 8th day of November, 2022.
