The Public Boat Ramps at Polk Street have reopened. City Public Works crews worked alongside contractors overnight to clear the navigation lanes so they would be open for use during holidays. The ramps are located at 700 Polk Street, and are open from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
The Holland Park ramp is also an option to launch. Holland Park is located at 801 Johnson Street and is open from dawn to 8:00 p.m. daily. This Intracoastal Waterway park includes boat trailer parking, two picnic pavilions, a bicycle path, waterfront nature trail and observation tower. The restrooms are currently under construction, portable restrooms are available for use.
