City of Hollywood Director of Procurement & Contract Compliance, Paul Bassar, is cordially inviting vendors to City Hall for a “Doing Business with the City of Hollywood” Procurement Process Workshop on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The workshop will include the City’s acquisition forecast for FY 2017/2018 and an informative procurement summary that will cover awards, their value and vendors, as well as how much and what types of supplies the City is purchasing via PCard. Treasure will discuss setting expectations and timeline as it pertains to paying invoices and Risk will explain Liability requirement for services. A representative from Bidsync will also be on hand to answer vendor questions. The goal of the workshop is for the business community to be engaged and enthused about procurement opportunities with the City, and to explain the transparent and competitive nature of the procurement process.
