The Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) will be performing roadway maintenance of two FEC railroad crossings along N. Dixie Highway/N. 21st Avenue in downtown Hollywood beginning on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. The crossing at Monroe Street will be closed Tuesday, August 22nd through Thursday, August 24th and the crossing at Taft Street will be closed Saturday, August 26th through Monday, August 28th. Traffic detours will be in place to allow for construction crews to perform necessary maintenance work, repairs and improvements. Motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes to avoid potential traffic delays.
