Add your ideas, needs, concerns and suggestions to the input already gathered from this past Saturday’s community workshop. The information will be gathered and considered as part of the Master Plan for the proposed train station and surrounding area around the FEC Railway Tracks in downtown Hollywood.
Walk in anytime this week, through Friday, to the Hollywood Shuffleboard Courts, located on N 21st Avenue between Polk Street and Taylor Street between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to talk with architects and planners. They are on-site this week walking the neighborhood, taking measurements, researching and working together developing the Master Plan.
As you know, the Tri-Rail Coastal Link is a proposed commuter train system connecting eastern coastal cities from Miami to Jupiter utilizing existing Florida East Coast (FEC) rail tracks. The City of Hollywood, Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC), and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) have partnered to create a master plan for a proposed station and the surrounding area around the FEC tracks. The TCRPC will assist the City, CRA, and SFRTA in coordinating the public’s involvement throughout the process. Residents, business owners and community stakeholders are invited to take part in this this exciting, strategic investment in our community!
