On March 12, 2019, the City of Hollywood will hold a Special Election where voters will be asked a decide on whether to fund a variety of city-wide public improvement projects to be funded by a General Obligation Bond (GO Bond) of $165 million. If the bonds are approved by voters, a 15-member GO Bond Oversight Committee, or "steering committee," will be formed to ensure that the funds are spent appropriately and that projects are completed as planned. The Committee will be comprised of 10 members representing neighborhood or civic associations and 5 professionals from various disciplines including architecture, engineering, construction and finance.
