A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for water customers in the Harbor Island residential community. Until further notice, customers in the area south of Washington Street to Hallandale Beach Boulevard, from Diplomat Parkway to the Intracoastal Waterway should not consume water without boiling it first. Due to construction activities in the area, out of an abundance of caution, a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for this area.
Customers should bring all water to a boil and let it continue boiling for one minute. Only boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. Customers will be advised when the precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted.
