Where can I get free paint?: Up to 20 gallons of free, high quality exterior latex paint is available to single family homeowners in Hollywood the second Saturday during the months of January, April, July and October. Paint is distributed on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 8am until noon (while supplies last) at 1600 South Park Road in Hollywood. Residents must provide proof of Hollywood residency with a driver's license and a utility bill. The paint is available in the following colors: Off White, Beige, Terracotta, Gray, and Turquoise. 1. Where should I report street lights that are not working?: To report a problem with street lights, contact Public Works at 954.967.4526 and supply the location and a description of the issue. If possible, include the number found on the front of the street light pole.

2. A traffic light is not working properly.: Call the Hollywood Police Department non-emergency number at 954.967.HELP (4357) or the Broward County Engineering Division at 954.847.2600.

3. A street or school zone sign is damaged, down or missing.: Please call the Broward County Engineering Division at 954.847.2600 or Public Works at 954.967.4526.

5. My sidewalk needs to be repaired.: For more information regarding sidewalk repair please call Public Works at 954.967.4526.

6. There is a pothole in the road or alley.: Call us at 954-967-4526 with the information and the repair will be scheduled.

7. Does the City maintain trees in the swale?: Trees located in the swale are the responsibility of the abutting property owner per City Code or Ordinances, Ch. 155.53

8. I would like a tree removed from my property or swale.: Please contact Engineering Division at 954.921.3900. Please note: a permit is required for tree removal.

10. There is a branch in the road, broken branch hanging from a tree, tree is down or is in danger of falling down: Call Public Works 954.967.4526 during normal business hours or the Police & Fire non-emergency number at 954.967.HELP (4357) after hours or on holidays.

14. I have a problem with bees.: Call Public Works between 7am and 6pm at 954.967.4526. Call All Bee at 888.725.5233 after 6pm. Please note: a fee will be charged for inspection and removal services IF on private property.

15. I have a problem with mosquitoes.: Call Broward County Mosquito Control at 954-765-4062 to request spraying services.

16. Who do I contact to get City restroom cleaned?: You may call the Department of Public Works at 954.967.4526.

17. Who do I contact to report a broken sprinkler in the park or median?: Please call the Department of Public Works at 954.967.4526

18. How long is the tree permit valid?: The current policy is that tree permits are valid for 60 days for the removal/replacement process, unless they are part of a new development or construction project

19. Is it a violation to remove a tree without a permit?: Yes, per City Code of Ordinances Ch. 155.54 & 155.99, 106 and The Landscape Manual. An increased permit fee of $90 per tree is the penalty for non-permitted tree removal.
