Join us for the triumphant return of Vintage South Florida, Celebrating History, Architecture and Entertainment, on Sunday, February 17th from 11:00am - 5:00pm on Hollywood Boulevard in Downtown Hollywood. This free family-friendly event features live entertainment, historic exhibits, classic car show, antique & collectible market, and much more. Special appearance by Butch Patrick from TV's "The Munsters." Presented by the Hollywood CRA, with support from the City of Hollywood Records and Archives Division, the Hollywood Historical Society, and the Hollywood Women's Club.

All are welcome to come and learn to play the Ukulele with Chai from the Music Club of Hollywood, even if you have never played a musical instrument. You are also welcome to come and just listen to others, watch and have some fun. Seasoned players will be on-hand to share some hints and tips and to encourage beginner musicians. Please bring a Ukulele if you have one, there will be 12-15 on-hand for sharing. The Ukulele Fest is taking place on Sunday, February 17th
from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Pavilion 4 at T.Y. Park, 3300 N. Park Road in Hollywood.

The ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery is featuring a unique environmental exhibition titled "Captain is Hollywood" featuring artist Maria Isabel Lazo in partnership with the Marine Environmental Education Center (MEEC) at the Carpenter House in Hollywood. The exhibit opened January 23rd and will be on display until March 17, 2019. An artist’s reception will be held on Thursday, February 21st from 6:00 to 9:30 pm in the Gallery. Conservation "Talks" will be given throughout the exhibit. All are welcome to attend, admission is free.

Please mark your calendars for January 26, February 23, March 23 and April 27 of 2019 for the City of Hollywood’s “Mission Possible Boot Camp”, which is a free workshop series. The workshops will be held at the Boulevard Heights Community Center at 6770 Garfield St., in Hollywood, from 9:30 AM- 12:30 PM. This workshop series will provide hands-on leadership training that emphasizes community building principles and strategies, project planning, organizational leadership and management practices, as well as personal leadership skills. Workshop participants may consist of civic and neighborhood association members, community leaders, resident volunteers, community-based organization staff, business owners, local government staff, and municipal elected officials. Participants who engage in the entire workshop series will receive a certificate.
